I have some news for some of you that you're not going to like. And that's that microneedling is not the solution to all your problems. Microneedling is great. It's tried and true. It's collagen induction therapy. It builds collagen. But you might have really bad pigment or bad acne scarring. And as a single modality, it doesn't do that much. And I tell you this because I have a lot of patients that

And I tell you this because I have a lot of patients that do microneedling or decided, hey, I went to a med spa and got microneedling done, and it was fine. Well, if it's the indication for what you have as a problem, great. But as a single modality, it rarely does anything, in my opinion, unless you pair it with other things and unless your skin is prepped properly.

And by prepping your skin properly, this is what I do for even my surgical patients, but for lasers, anything, good vitamin C, retinoid, sunscreen, exfoliating acid, and peptide. I promise you that combination of five products
