Let me tell you how life works. There is a point between 20 to 25 or 26 that I would call the potential resume. Now, listen closely. The potential resume works like this.
At this point in your life, especially in the early, early 20s, most people have freedom, most people don't have many bills to pay, and most people don't have many responsibilities.
So what do they do with that time? They usually start partying, start experimenting, start going crazy and doing some dumb shit with their time because I'm young, I can do whatever I want. But then there's the few that start really trying shit.
And for me, it was trying to figure out what I was passionate about. I wanted to do sports when I was young, so I did sports a bunch. I wanted to do DJing, so I tried DJing. I fucking hated that. I started my first business that I worked on for four years,
ended up dropping that, losing all the money. I started trying everything. And what's funny? The same people in that category that were drinking and smoking and partying every fucking weekend hated me. They stopped wanting to hang out with me.
My own friends stopped wanting to hang out with me because I was trying to find out what my potential was, trying to put time into my talent, trying to put time behind the thing that I said, this is gonna take me to that next level. This is gonna be what I do with my life.
Most people don't use that time. And most people end up coming out towards the end of their 20s, going into their 30s and being like, all right, now it's time for me to lock in. Now it's time for me to try shit. Now it's time for me to go and start my first business., wait, I don't have any money
and I got kicked out of my parents' house. I'm 30 years old, I can't live here, shit. So maybe I shouldn't do that business. All right, let me just get this corporate job for four years and then I'll try it when I'm 35., shit, now I have a kid. Now my potential is down here. I can no longer try all these things
