There is a brand new career playbook that's unfolding right in front of our eyes right now, but nobody is quite understanding how overpowered it is. It goes something like this. It starts off with a 20-something year old who just graduated college or has been working a regular job for a couple of years now. This person is typically a bit more entrepreneurial in nature, and so
naturally, the thought of working a regular job every day doesn't seem to quite cut it for them. So because of their ambition, they take on this extraordinary task of trying to become a founder, typically trying to run a tech startup with some newly acquired investor money or bootstrap.
But that's besides the point. Throughout this journey, they start to understand that one of the harder parts of this process is marketing what they're building and getting people to care. So in their pursuit of trying to find a solution, they stumble upon the building in public playbook and they subscribe to it.
They start posting online under their name. They get a couple of viral videos. but they quickly start to realize that this method alone might not get them a meaningful amount of users for their product or service to make it financially viable However what they do notice is that because of them posting online they start meeting other founders entrepreneurs and even investors and slowly but surely start to market themselves more than the actual product or service that they originated with And then they get their
first brand deal, and that's when a switch flicks on in their head. You see, because they are an aspiring founder trying to build a tech startup, this brand deal will typically come from a major AI tech company with a huge budget. And for the first time in their life, they finally start to realize how much money there is for them to capture online. They don't even need the tech startup anymore. So slowly they transition from a founder that's just using social media to promote their
business to genuinely falling in love with creating content online and making it their main source of income. And ultimately this provides them such a phenomenal peace of mind knowing that even if the startup fails they can now be a creator online talking about what they love and making
more money than majority of jobs that they would have worked. But even if they don't want to be a creator full time and are just using this to get by, this job of being a creator now gives them enough leeway to work on their dreams without the financial stress of having no money and without the time commitment of having to check in at a job every single day. It's truly a beautiful,
beautiful period of time we're living in right now. Take advantage of it.
