shit, I'm averaging 300 installs per day on my app Chloe on only $40 ad spend. Here's how I set up Meta ads for maximum performance. First thing you gotta do is have a Meta ads account. Then you go into ad manager and create a new campaign. Just starting out, I would try a install campaign first. That'll give you the most traffic, but be warned Meta might give you cheap installs with low purchasing intent.
So once you're getting enough traffic, I would graduate to a campaign that optimizes for trial starts or conversions instead of install. The next big thing is targeting. I try to keep my targeting pretty broad and let Meta do its thing to find my audience. So for age and interested topics, I just leave it blank. But the one thing I do want to control is the geographic targeting.
Other countries I'm targeting include the US, Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Paraguay, Australia, Brazil. You want strong purchasing power countries that also have a good English-speaking population. So in the start, I was targeting the Philippines and I was getting crazy cost per install like 19 cents per install,
but it wasn't worth it because the conversions were just super low and I was getting tons of billing errors, which were pretty frustrating. Targeting higher tier countries is usually more expensive. So I followed this article to see which audiences are the best bang for your buck. Now, once you have the targeting down, I create the ads itself.
I know it lets you put multiple creatives in a single ad, but I wouldn't do that. I would do multiple separate ads in the same ad set. This way you can easily see which ad performs the best. And now the important part is the actual creative itself. But this video is getting a bit too long. So fall for part two. I'm posting tomorrow. Let's flippin go.
