Mr. Handsome, who has it harder, men or women? Excellent question, my child. If you and your girl were both taking a massive shit in separate bathrooms, you'd never know how hers felt, and she'd never know how yours felt. But you both swear yours was harder. Your own pain feels louder. The brain can't feel what it's never lived, so it assumes it's smaller. That's why men and women will argue about this forever.
A man will never know the fear of walking home alone as a woman. A woman will never know what it's like to be told crying makes you less of a man. Women are far more likely to be S.A'd. Men are nearly four times more likely to take their own lives. One side's pain is loud, the other's is silent. Neither one is small. Women are told they're too much. Men are told they're never enough.
Two people can stand in the same rain and feel completely different storms. So who has it harder, men or women? Both, just in different ways. And if you disagree, you're biased.
