Here's how I created the animation for this video that absolutely blew up and how you can do the same. The majority of the work that went into this video was scripting and planning out how I want the visuals to look. After researching and coming up with a story, I decide what the style is that I want for this video. Then, I plan out certain frames of the animation with Claude using the animated video skill,

which will come up with different visualization ideas I can iterate on. Once the visual is settled, Claude starts building the entire animation and code while I film the voiceover and the talking head video. When I'm done, I dump all the raw footage and audio to Claude, and using the video edit skill, it will put everything together without needing me to direct it.

Sound effects, background music, finding the right visuals, picking out the right clips to use, and stitching everything together, all done autonomously using this skill. The quality of the animation and video editing does depend on the model though. I've had the most success with Claude Opus 5.5. AI can create really good animations now, but it can't write and tell a good story. So I hope these skills can encourage and help storytellers out there to share their stories.
