About 30% of iPhone users have changed their default text size, and if your app doesn't support that, you might be breaking the experience for nearly a third of your users without even knowing it. When I built CleanPlate, I hardcoded a lot of my font sizes. It looked exactly how I wanted on my phone, but I didn't think about the fact that plenty of people bumped their text size up for readability, some even all the way up to 310%.

Apple's own accessibility guidelines recommend supporting text scaling up to at least 200% And if you don't, text gets cut off, buttons overlap, and the app just breaks for a real chunk of your users. The fix is simple. It's using Apple's dynamic type system instead of fixed font sizes, so your text automatically would scale based on what each person has set their own phone on.
