A note from the founder

I'm Alexey. I built SavedThat because I had a folder of 400+ saved Reels and YouTube videos that I never went back to — and when I did, I couldn't find what I was looking for. The promise of «save for later» was broken on every platform I used.

So I built the thing I wanted: save anything you watch, get it transcribed automatically, search by what was actually said. It works on YouTube, Instagram Reels, and TikTok — across 100+ languages. There's an iPhone Share Sheet, an Android Share Intent, and a Chrome extension.

Right now, the product is in beta. The mobile apps are in closed testing (TestFlight + Play Store closed track). The web app is live. If something breaks or you want a feature, write to hello@savedthat.app — it goes to my inbox and I reply within a day or two.

What SavedThat does

SavedThat is a semantic video bookmarking service that helps you save, transcribe, and search across videos from YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. Instead of scrolling through hundreds of saved posts looking for that one recipe or coding tutorial, you can search by what was actually said.

Our core offering is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform available on a subscription basis. SavedThat is our own product, designed, built and operated in-house. We do not take on client projects, bespoke development, IT consultancy or outsourced engineering work.
