Connect SavedThat to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or any MCP client. Then just ask — “find the reel I saved about sourdough” — and get the exact video and timestamp, straight from your library.
Pick your client. No API keys — sign in with SavedThat via OAuth.
Open claude.ai or the desktop app, then go to Settings → Connectors.
Click Add custom connector, name it SavedThat, and paste the URL below.
Click Connect → Sign in with SavedThat and approve. Now ask Claude to “search my SavedThat library”.
https://savedthat.app/api/mcp/mePrefer no sign-in? Use the public read-only server (product info + public transcripts): https://savedthat.app/api/mcp
Read-only tools over your own library: find the right video, then pull just the moment you need.
search_my_library“I remember a reel about a frontend clock library”
The matching saved videos — not fragments — each with its best moment, the quote, and a score, so you pick the right one.
get_moment“Pull that exact part”
A focused ~2-minute transcript window around the moment — enough to apply the idea, not a whole 3-hour podcast.
list_my_saves“What did I save this week?”
Browse your most recent saves — title, platform, and link.
You sign in with SavedThat. The AI client never sees your password — only a scoped, revocable token.
A consent screen shows exactly which app is connecting and what it can do before anything is granted.
The agent can search, list, and read transcripts. It can't post, delete, or change your account.
Disconnect any AI client from your SavedThat settings whenever you want.
Row-Level Security means an agent only ever sees the signed-in user's own library.
Don't want to sign in? A separate public server exposes only product info and public transcripts.
Yes — sign in with your free SavedThat account when you connect. The agent then acts as you, searching only your own library. No password is ever shared with the AI client.
Any MCP-compatible client. We give one-click or copy-paste setup for Claude (web + desktop), ChatGPT (developer mode), Cursor, VS Code, and Claude Code. Others that accept a remote MCP URL work too.
Only your saved videos and their transcripts, read-only. It can search your library, list recent saves, and fetch a transcript. It cannot post, delete, change settings, or see anything else in your account.
Connection uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE. You see an explicit consent screen showing the app and what it can do, and you can revoke access anytime in Settings. Row-Level Security guarantees an agent only ever sees the signed-in user's data.
Yes. A public, read-only MCP server at savedthat.app/api/mcp exposes product info and publicly-indexed transcripts — no account needed. The personal server (savedthat.app/api/mcp/me) is the one that searches your own library.
No. It uses your existing SavedThat plan. Connecting an AI client is free.
Connect once. Then find anything you saved, just by asking.
