If your app is under 4 stars, you're getting 40% fewer downloads than you should. Here's one thing to change. Appfollow, an app review company, found that apps with 4.5 stars get 1.7 times more downloads than apps under 4. A lot of apps ask for a rating the second you open them, so you tap not now. And Apple only shows that pop-up 3 times a year.
So ask right after a win. In my app, that's the second someone gets a good score, they're happy, so they tap 5 stars. If they say no, wait a week before you ask them again. I do this and my app has a 4.8 star rating with over 500 reviews. Follow because I'm sharing everything that worked.
