If you're struggling to get downloads for your app, you need to know about this Apple feature. Because there's another way to get your app discovered that most new app developers probably aren't aware of. It is called In-App Events. Apple lets you create event cards that can show up in App Store search results, on your app's page, and even in Features. It's super convenient because people can discover these events and download your app directly from them.
For example, if I were hosting a special challenge or event inside of my app, Halo, I could create a card for it with its own image, description, and event details. It looks good, and it looks professional. And users can even choose to get notified when the event starts. To find it, go to App Store Connect, select your app, and look for the In-App Events button.
Now, this isn't guaranteed to get you a ton of downloads, and you need an actual qualifying event inside of your app made, but it is another great way to market it. And it's definitely worth knowing about. This is Part 3 of Things Apple Doesn't Tell You. I can follow for Part 4.
