Apple just built a screen that talks people out of cancelling your app. Right now, if 100 people go to cancel, about 2 of them change their mind. With this new screen, it's about 8, and all you need to do is fill out a form. Here's how it works. When someone cancels your subscription, they go to settings, click your app, and tap cancel. Apple then allows you to show an are you sure page, but yours is most likely blank right now,
so nobody is telling them to stay, so they just leave. It's called retention messaging. , Apple lets you put a little note on the cancel page. You can write a sentence like your street crossets if you leave, you can add a picture, or you can even throw in a deal like 1 month free. Apple found that with this message, 3 out of 100 people stay instead of 2.
